How do I get smell or mould out of swim trunks?
Care and washing. Straight answer, sources stated.
The cause is almost always trunks left damp in a bag. Soak in cool water with a cup of white vinegar for an hour, hand wash with a gentle soap, rinse well and dry flat in shade. Avoid bleach and hot water, which damage the liner elastic. Rinsing and hanging the same day you swim prevents it.
